A Special Celebration at Magnific Rock
This month at Magnific Rock we had the pleasure of hosting an epic bachelor/bachelorette surf trip for our returning guest Andy and his bride to be, Allison. Andy has been coming on surf trips to Nicaragua for years and stayed with us last year in April with our all inclusive surf package. This April he returned to celebrate his marriage by surfing with the people closest to him!
Surfing Together
The group had varying levels of surfing from first timers to experienced surfers but we were able to all surf together! The highlight was scoring Playa Gavilan totally empty and everyone caught waves…both newbies and shredders. We got some cool video clips of that day so look out for the video on our Instagram.
Epic Nights at Magnific Rock
We also had some epic nights including karaoke/pool night and feasts during pizza night and BBQ night down in the Rock Bottom bar. The highlight was a mixology course paired with Asian inspired food such as sushi and ramen at the new restaurant El Tigre in our sister resort La Jolla de Guasacate. It was a special night celebrating the lovely couple, Andy and Allison.
Boat Trip and Relaxation
On the day of our boat trip half the group stayed back at the hotel for massages and a pool day while the other half went to surf lances left. We surfed some playful uncrowded waves at lances and then caught a nice mackerel! Our chefs a t Magnific Rock turned the mackerel into ceviche and we had an epic group dinner with our fresh catch. The perfect end to any surf trip.
