All-Inclusive Nicaragua Wedding Packages: What’s Actually Included

All-Inclusive Wedding Packages in Nicaragua | Magnific Rock

When couples ask about all-inclusive wedding packages, they usually have the same underlying question: will I know exactly what I’m paying for before I sign anything? The answer at Magnific Rock is yes, which is why the packages are built and priced the way they are.

What “All-Inclusive” Means for a Destination Wedding

In the destination wedding industry, “all-inclusive” is used loosely. Some venues mean the ceremony space plus a drinks reception. Others mean a full weekend with accommodation, meals, décor, and a coordinator managing every supplier.

At Magnific Rock, all-inclusive means one quote that covers the essential components of the wedding itself: the venue, full catering, open bar, event coordination, and setup. Couples don’t source a caterer separately, negotiate with a bar supplier, or manage a day-of coordinator. That core is fixed. What varies between tiers is the level of styling and entertainment built in, as well as the exclusive use of the spaces.

What Every Package Includes

Regardless of which tier a couple chooses, every Magnific Rock wedding package covers:

  • Exclusive use of the clifftop ceremony and reception terrace, and in some cases the restaurant and/or the bottom bar
  • Full sit-down dinner catered by the Magnific Rock Café, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
  • 4 hours of open bar service
  • A dedicated on-site event coordinator from first inquiry through the wedding day
  • Full setup and breakdown of the ceremony and reception spaces
  • Guest accommodation is booked separately, though some packages include one or two complimentary nights for the couple. On-site options range from private cabinas and studios to the clifftop penthouse. See the full accommodations overview for room types and capacities

The following sit outside the packages:

  • Wedding photography and videography (outside vendors; the coordinator can connect couples with trusted local photographers)
  • Hair and makeup
  • Legal paperwork and officiant fees if a civil ceremony is required
  • Guest travel to Popoyo and ground transportation from Managua airport
  • Any décor upgrades beyond what is specified in the chosen tier

How the Planning Process Works

Most couples planning a Magnific Rock wedding are based in the US, Canada, or Europe and coordinate the entire event remotely before arriving a few days before the date. The process is designed around that reality.

  1. Initial inquiry. Contact the team via WhatsApp (+505 8237 7417) or the website with your preferred date, approximate guest count, and any specific requirements. The coordinator responds with availability and a personalised quote.
  2. Package confirmation. Once a tier is chosen and a deposit placed, the coordinator sends a planning timeline with clear milestones.
  3. Vendor coordination. The team handles supplier contact, including any outside vendors the couple brings in. Couples are updated at each stage, not left to chase confirmations.
  4. Pre-arrival walkthrough. Couples typically arrive two to three days before the wedding for a final venue walkthrough and tasting.
  5. Wedding day. The coordinator manages all logistics on the day. Couples and guests arrive to a venue that is fully set and ready.

What to Budget Beyond the Package

The package covers the wedding itself. The additional variables are guest accommodation and travel.

On-site rooms are bookable as a block for the wedding party, from shared studios to the penthouse. Guests staying elsewhere in Popoyo or San Juan del Sur reach the property easily by road. For a full breakdown of transfer options, taxi fares, and self-drive directions from Managua, see the getting here guide.

For travel, Managua’s international airport (MGA) is roughly two hours from Popoyo. Direct flights operate from Miami, Houston, and several other US and European hubs. US, Canadian, EU, UK, and Australian nationals need no visa for stays under 90 days.

As a rough reference: a 30-person Destination Package wedding at Magnific Rock runs between $6,499 and $9,999 in total, depending on room choices and any add-ons. That figure is well below the average cost of a comparable resort wedding in Costa Rica or Mexico.
